Our Journey
From a Seed of Faith to a Sanctuary of Seva
The story of Rasulpur Ramakrishna Sevashram is one of steady devotion and the unfolding grace of Sri Ramakrishna. While the spiritual roots of our community were planted in Rasulpur as early as 1964, the formal dream of a dedicated Sevashram began to take physical shape in the late nineties.
On July 24, 1998, we were blessed to have the foundation stone laid by Srimat Swami Gahananandaji Maharaj (then Vice-President of Belur Math).
Today, the Sevashram stands as a blooming realization of Swami Vivekananda’s vision: “Shiva Jnane Jiva Seva”—serving God by serving humanity. Though our journey has seen many challenges, we continue to grow, guided by the light of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda, striving to be a source of compassion, strength, and spiritual peace for all.
Spiritual Activities
Today, the Sevashram nurtures spiritual values through regular worship, prayers, and devotional practices, helping individuals find inner peace and a deeper connection with life.
Service to Humanity
Guided by the ideal of selfless service, the Sevashram actively supports the needy through social welfare initiatives, health support, and community service programs.
Education & Youth Development
The Sevashram encourages education and moral development by supporting children and youth, empowering them to grow with knowledge, discipline, and strong values.
